Ahmed Yahia Farag Abdelfattah – Power Electronics Laboratory

(S’21) Ahmed Y. Farag was born in Egypt. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees (with Hons.) in electrical engineering from Cairo University, Egypt, in 2016 and 2019, respectively.

Since Feb, 2021, he joined the power electronics group at University of Padova, Vicenza, Italy and currently he is working towards his PhD.

His major field of research interests include power factor correction converters, power topologies for DC microgrids and multiport converters.
