Giovanni Bonanno
Research Fellow
Giovanni Bonanno (Member, IEEE) received the M.S. degree in electronic engineering from the University of Padova, Padova, Italy, in 2017.
From 2017 to 2018, he was a Research Fellow with the University of Padua for the project: “Study and development of current control techniques in multilevel dc–dc converters for automotive applications”. From May 2018 to October 2018, he was a Mixed-Signal Design Engineer with Infineon Technologies AG.
He discussed his Ph.D. defense in March 2022. The Ph.D. project was centered on the application and the generalized closed-loop stability analysis of the digital-predictive current-mode control for multilevel flying-capacitor converters.
From 2021 to 2023, he was a Postdoc Research Fellow with the University of Padua, in Vicenza, at the Department of Management and Engineering with the project “Advanced Control Techniques for Bidirectional Power Converters in Renewable Energy Systems”.
He is currently working as a Research Fellow with the University of Padua. His research interests include the design and the analytical modeling of power converters and digital controls.
