Mariam Achaq, born on December 3rd, 2000, in Rabat, Morocco, earned her degree in Electrical Engineering from the National School of Applied Sciences (ENSA) in Kénitra, Morocco 2023. She then pursued and completed a master’s degree in Embedded Systems Engineering at Bordeaux University, France 2024. Following this, she joined CERN as an Electrical Engineer Intern from March to August 2024.

Since November 2024, she has been enrolled in the National PhD Program “Photovoltaics” at the University of Salerno, Italy. Her research is conducted at the University of Padova, where she is a member of the Power Electronics Group, working towards her PhD.

Her research interests include control algorithms for power electronic converters, grid-connected power converters, and grid-forming configurations.
